Wedding Catering   UP

If you want the perfect event with smooth sailing from start to finish be sure to call on Melissa Teaff Catering. We live in a different area and arranged our 40th anniversary party with Melissa at a wonderful Napa area winery. She and her staff met every request graciously. Bob and I and all our guests truly had the time of our lives because it was so well planned and executed. Set up, food, service and clean up were all done impeccably. All we did was show up and have fun - does it getter any better than this? Absolutely not! We would weep copiously if she was already booked next time we want to do something. Alec and I could not have been happier with the way everything at the wedding turned out.  I can’t tell you how many compliments we received from guests of every age concerning the food and its service.  The vegetarians in particular raved about their main course since often they are neglected.  And, as you probably know, more than one guest wanted the recipe for the mushroom hors’s d’oeuvres.

My banks and I have used the services of Melissa Teaff Catering almost exclusively for all our catering needs for over fifteen years.  Whether we have called on their services to cater Charter Oak Bank Board Meetings, customer appreciation events, staff meetings or executive management meetings, they have proved there is no event too large or too small for their skills.  It is a relief to know when you have engaged their services that the food and service are no longer a concern.

Their ‘Chef’s Choice’ menus are consistently delicious, abundant, creative, attractively served and unique.  Whenever we have cause to special order a menu, they have been presented with the same quality and style.  We have also always been pleased by their attention to detail, punctuality and follow up.  Again, using Melissa’s services has consistently been a time saver, as well as making an excellent impression on our customers and guests.

Fundraiser: I have worked with Melissa and her staff for a number of years, and wish to recommend them most highly.  The entire staff is most professional, totally reliable, and totally consistent; the food quality has always been high quality (and received raves from my guests).

Most of the events have been in a category of 30 to 50, with some reaching up to 100, including sit-down dinners, buffets and cocktail parties.

I am aware that she has handled events of 500 or more, and I know that any event undertakes, she will handle in the same professional manner, which has always been her standard over the many years.

Summer Party: When my husband and I decided to have a summer party, there was no question that you would be our caterer.  After all, I’ve been eating your delicious food on broker tours and open houses for many years in San Francisco.  Once you visited our home, you guided me through the menu planning and suggested other vendors for flowers and wine.  The day before the party, the rental company delivered tables, chairs, plates, glasses, etc. and promptly came for pick-up the next day.

We want to compliment your staff on how wonderful they were during the party – so attentive and pleasant to our guests.  They are true professionals in their field.  Best of all, my husband and I were relaxed and had a great time!  Thanks again for helping make our summer party one our guests will always remember.

Anniversary: What a celebration!  David and I are still absorbing all the details of our day and just want to thank you again for the amazing job you did at our 40th anniversary party.  It was certainly one of the most memorable experiences in our lives and a great deal of the credit goes to you. 

The food was outstanding – everyone loved the salmon and the tenderloin, the delicious hors d’oeuvres.  I loved the way everything flowed effortlessly.  The staff was top of the line, handling all with good cheer and cordiality.  If there was something unexpected – dashing out for ice, handling a very complicated wine service, changing a table – it was all adjusted for seamlessly.  We were so relaxed.

Since you have been part of many of our celebrations, both business and personal, we were not surprised at the success of this important event.  But, we definitely felt the extra care and personal attention that you exhibited and we want to thank you especially for that.  You are experts at what you accomplish.
